NEW DELHI (WEB DESK) - Responding to Pakistani National Security Advisor Satraj Aziz remarks, Indian External Affair Minsiter Sushma Swaraj reiterated Indias stand that talks can be held only between India and Pakistan without any third party involvement including that of Hurriyat leaders.Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, she said:“India has always maintained that there will be no third party in Indo-Pak talks. Hurriyat cannot be a party. In a reply to Pakistan on the NSA-level talks, the Indian FMsaid that her government welcomes Sartaj Aziz only if the talks are confined to terrorism only.“Sartaj Aziz should come if he agrees with India on the points made by us,” she added. The Indian FM said there is no scope for expansion of the agenda as there was no reference to Kashmir in Ufa declaration.Suhma Swaraj said that every talk with Pakistan cannot be called ‘dialogue.’Not all the interactions with Pakistan are dialogues. There is a composite dialogue which is different and has eight points, issues or subjects. In 1998, we had a composite dialogue. That composite dialogue can truly be called a dialogue between two parties. The rest are discussions and interactions, they cannot be described as a dialogue. Both Prime Ministers had reached an agreement, and that agreement was that let us talk about the issue of terror first. It was clearly agreed that there would be a clear delink between terror and talks, she added. It was agreed at Ufa that the talks in New Delhi on August 24 would focus on terror and how to maintain peace on the border.Giving a deadline to Pakistan till tonight, she said the Pakistani administration must assure the talks will be held only on terrorism.
